Rural Schools Rock 2.0

The local schools have got together for their 2nd Exhibition in the Gallery to produce some wonderful artworks around the theme of 'Taonga'. These can be seen from the 9th August until the 12th Sept 2018

Rebecca Beyer – Storyteller

Rebecca returns for her second visit to the Gallery. Her lovely images in the form of storytelling use various forms of creation. She loves working as a painter with acrylic, printmaking using lino, or dry point etching.

Jo Gallagher 2.0 – Welcome Back

Jo Gallagher returns a second time to the Gallery. Her work is quirky and puts a smile on anyone's face. Pop in and check out her images using birds and animals with humour thrown in. She will also have Cards for sale.

Chris Poletti, Kerry and James O’Sullivan

Local photographer Kerry O'Sullivan and Taranaki photographer Chris Poletti, along with James O'Sullivan with his paintings all show their work in this exhibition from 27th December to 30th January.

Aithnia Batchelor

Aithnia Batchelor, local Waitara artist shows her beautifully executed paintings of Taranaki life in the naïve style. This exhibition runs from the 31st of January through to the 5th March 2020.

Lisa Ormsby

We welcome Lisa Ormsby from Otorohanga to the Gallery until April 9. Lisa specialises in acrylic and mixed media using nature as her reference point and inspiration to produce her art pieces.

Wayne Morris

Art Gallery

Wayne Morris is back featuring his Salvage Art exhibition called Menagerie ... a strange and diverse collection of wild animals, people or things from 17th July - 20th August.

Denise Newland & Pat Greenfield : Diversity

Denise Newland and Pat Greenfield have teamed up to bring us this diverse range of crafts and mediums with no theme. Both artists work in different mediums. As such, they complement each other, thus offering the viewer a broader artistic view.

Grand Re-opening

Join us to celebrate the re-opening of the museum, followed by a cuppa and nibbles at the Mokau Hall
