About this objectEarly to mid-20th Century wooden cigarette dispenser with an ornate marquetry finish. The dispenser is in the form of a box that holds the cigarettes with a mechanical bird that picks up a cigarette in its beak when a lever is pushed. The top of the box slides off to allow cigarettes to be placed inside. A small compartment on the top of the box is to hold matches.
